Liberals walk out of confidence vote, Conservatives sing
From CBC News:
“Liberal MPs walked out of the House of Commons on Tuesday in protest of a motion, later passed, that called for the Senate to approve an omnibus crime bill by the beginning of March.
Led by Liberal House Leader Ralph Goodale, the caucus streamed out of the chamber as the vote was set to begin. Some Conservatives taunted the MPs as they exited, singing, Na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye.”
These are the people running my country?! I don’t recall that kind of behaviour after about grade 6, and even then it was only done during the last 10 seconds of minor league hockey games. I can’t believe people vote for these monkeys.
One in the same?
I was catching up on old articles on PSD, a World Bank development blog, and I came across this wonderful line from a departing blogger, “If you’re a World Bank staffer and favor market solutions to development, talk to Alan about a possibility of guest blogging.” It just makes me wonder, does anyone at the Bank not favour market solutions to development?
What country has the second largest oil reserves?
Canada.
