Where does it pay to be an academic?
Canada, apparently. We came out on top in a study of 15 countries, with Canadian academics averaging $4,856 per month (in PPP adjusted dollars). News like this makes me happy with my long-term plan of getting a US PhD and then heading back up North to live.
